Obituary of Karen Dawn Carss

Ms. Karen Carss, of 80 Water Street West, Brockville, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the age of 72.Karen was born to parents William Balfour Carss II and Ellen Rae Carss on July 6, 1946 in Flin Flon, MB. She grew up as the eldest of four. 

In 1966, Karen relocated to Kemptville, Ontario, and married Dennis Tousaw. In 1989, Karen graduated from the Kingston Campus of St. Lawrence College in the Fine Art and Photography program. In 1991, she also completed her Associates Degree in Journalism from Loyalist College in Belleville. 

Karen is survived by her four children: Jace Baart of Ottawa, Jay Tousaw of Kemptville, Peter Tousaw of Cardinal, and Wendy Maloney (née Tousaw) of Prescott. She is also survived by her siblings, William Balfour Carss III, Elizabeth Griffiths of Trenton, and Jacquie Doucette of Winchester, and her many grandchildren.
