Obituary of John Thomas McGlynn

Passed peacefully at age 60, May 3rd, 2019 with his daughters by his side after a brief but courageous fight with cancer.

He will be dearly missed by his daughters Nicole Anstey (Ryan), Kelly Anstey (Liam) and his beloved grandchildren Cole, Alice, James, Anna, Charlie, and Emma. They looked up to their Bampa, and will always remember summers at the cottage. Bampa was one of the kids and will live on in our laughter and hearts.

He is survived by his sisters Gail Dunn (Mike), Karen Cadieux, Donna Silva (Celso), Mary Kerr (Eric) and Karleen Scott (Jeff), and brother Doug Parker (Susan) as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father Raymond McGlynn, mother Helen Parker-McGlynn-Wheeler (Doug), brother Raymond, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Cadieux.

A big 'Thank You' to Dr. Hammond and Dr. Khalid at the Cancer Centre of Southeaster Ontario. Donations may be made to The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).

At John's request, a private graveside ceremony will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Kingston, on May 10th, 2019.
