Obituary of Patricia Emma Bowen

On July 5th, 2019, our fiery matriarch, Patricia Emma Bowen (Gilbert), died of cancer at the age of 65. She leaves behind two daughters; Shorey (Joe) and Sadie (Rick), along with four grandchildren; Jacob, Madeline, Henryk and Oscar. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Corey Guy Bowen in 2006. 

Patricia was a wonderful grandmother and a compulsive collector of all things vintage. She loved the blues, travel, fashion and art. She will be remembered for her boisterous personality, quick wit and strong will. 

Her family would like to thank her dearest friends and neighbours for their support, company and assistance throughout her final weeks. 

Patricia courageously battled this illness mostly in private, with most of her friends and relatives unaware of her true fate. At her request, there will be no service or burial. Please consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society or your local palliative care unit.
