Obituary of Martin Liam Brayman

Our Marty...

It is with broken hearts, a river of tears and profound sadness that Colleen, Nick, Ericka and Henry, Ben and Amelia and I celebrate the life of a very special son, brother and uncle who left us unexpectedly on 9 September 2019.

We know that we shared Marty with many of you who loved him as deeply as we did. We are overwhelmed with the number of people who have reached out and whose lives he touched.

On behalf of Marty, we are very thankful to St. Michael's Catholic High School in Kemptville for allowing us to honour Marty in a place that he loved and that helped shape him into the authentic young man he became.

There is a hole in our world tonight.

In memory of Marty, his family has established “The Marty Brayman Kids Hockey Fund” to give a child the gift of playing hockey. The fund will cover the cost of a deserving child getting into hockey to honour his death, by covering the cost of gear, team and league registration. The goal is to raise a gift of hockey for every year of Marty’s life. Please visit https://chuffed.org/project/martybrayman
