Obituary of Nancy Leone Alkerton

On October 11, 2019 heaven pulled its curtain back and welcomed our beloved mother Nancy Leone Alkerton into grace.  

Nancy will always be remembered and cherished by her daughters Ginger Kennedy and Rhonda Arthurs (Rod).  

Nancy’s passing will forever be felt by her siblings Carol Strader, Reg Reid (Annie), Linda Marion (Donald) and Diane Bradberry (Bob).  She will be lovingly remembered as 'Aunt Nance' to her many nieces and nephews and as 'Gram', 'Grandma' or 'GG' by her 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.  

Nancy is predeceased by her parents James "Tuffy" Reid, Eveline "Evelyn" Reid, brother Robert "Bob" Reid and brother-in-law James Strader.

Family and friends are invited to join us at a graveside service on October 30th, 2019 at Maynard Cemetery at 11:30am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Prescott Legion from 12:30 to 4:00pm.

A special  "Thank You" to Dr. P. Wheatly Price and the wonderful staff of the Ottawa General Hospital as well as the staff of the Brockville General at Charles and Garden St. sites.
