Obituary of Barbara Elizabeth McEvoy

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Barbara McEvoy at the age of 69.  Beloved daughter of Frank (deceased) and Norma Jones (Muir).  Loving mother to Caryn McEvoy-Ghobril (Joey) and Ashley McEvoy Beland (Jason).  Caring sister to Barry Jones. 

Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Sam, Scarlett and Adelyn.  Cherished by her niece, nephews and extended family and friends. 

Barb will be remembered for her smile, her humour and her love for animals. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Starwood that took wonderful care of Barb over the last few months. 

In lieu of flowers, please place a donation in Barbara’s honour to The Canadian Cancer Society or the Kemptville District Hospital. 

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
