I met Pete through work 10 years ago and I remember our times together like it was yesterday. It wouldn't matter if we were driving around the corner or going to the west end of Ontario, Pete always had the GPS organized. On route, the playlist was always set to Frank Zappa and Rush. Pete would air drum to every fill and rip a mean air guitar solo. I'd always ask him "Pete, you want me to drive so you can finish rockin out?" If he wasn't chatting about music, planes or stocks he was proud to talk about his family. Any time we would spend a night out of town for work he would have his acoustic with him so he could showcase his tunes he wrote. Pete was definitely not the guy to pass up an opportunity to go see a concert or have his buddies over to jam. That was the last time I saw Pete, guitar in hand smile ear to ear. Rock on Pete. You will be missed, Tyler.

I met Pete 10 years ago. I was amazed at the depth of his knowledge in so many subjects. It didn't matter if it was septic tanks, guitars, stocks, he always was able to add to the conversations. What I will remember most was his love for his family, his kids and his darling wife Sherri. His biggest concerns where always beyond him and trying to make sure everyone around him was happy and able. Pete, I will miss our conversations, and you laugh that could fill a room with joy. Safe travels my friend, god bless.

"I will sorely miss my younger brother Peter, who now joins our younger sister Anne in God's eternal Graces.
Our heartfelt condolences go to Sherri, Yvonne and family, and Michelle in this most difficult time.
Peter was a very kind and thoughtful person who lived for the ideal of familial togetherness.
At Opa and Oma's, back in the day, we would gather weekly to celebrate together.
Peter and Dan were both natural musicians, as they most capably played many instruments and sang very well.
One Christmas Eve, the girls all went downstairs to liven up the party while the boys were upstairs playing cards.
Mom was on the drums, the others on guitars and singing loudly and out of tune (except for Anne who was s great singer).
The boys came downstairs to see what the racket was and just stared in disbelief! LOL.
Pete looked at Dan and said, "let's show them how it's done."
Next thing we knew, everybody was dancing, singing, and having a great time.
He gifted us all a better musical appreciation (Classic rock of course!), group dynamic and overall positive vibe through his consistent good example and camaraderie.
His life continues to touch us all via our memory of his time with us.
Yopi, I love you, and am stronger as a result of knowing you.
Your memory is a blessing.
Love Ma-ri"

I woke up with a song in my head. An album I used to play from my big brothers vinyl record collection when I was a kid. I have played it over and over with him in mind. I would love to share the song with everyone. Beatles: In My Life.
Love you always bro...never forget you.

Sherri, Yvonne, Michelle...
So sorry to hear the sad news. I never met Pete in person but from what Sherri mentioned about him is reflected in the awesome words mentioned in his obituary.
From Abigael, Moira, and myself, are deepest sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family during these trying times.
