Obituary of Vera Wylie

Vira (Vera) Alvera Wylie (Nee Lukey), went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2021, at Brockville General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband Winston, and son Bruce (Eileen). Predeceased by her son Donald. Also survived by three grandsons Ben (Misun), Dan (Carolyn), Tom (Sylvie), and several great-grandchildren – Andrew, Kathryn Vera Lee, Leah, Hailey, and Keira. She leaves behind her sister Doris (Albert).

Vera was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, Baba and friend to many. There will be a private ceremony in the near future and a memorial service later date in Marmora, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the 30-Hour Telethon for Palliative Care or the Palliative Care Unit at Brockville General Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged.

The family is very grateful for the calls, prayers and good wishes while she was in the hospital. Thank-you to the Doctors and Nurses in the Palliative Care unit for their loving care of our mother. Also to Care Partners and Bayshore for their care of her when she was home with us.
