Obituary of Lucille Mary Seguin

She will be leaving behind her children, many grand-children, great-grand-children, great great-grand-children, all whom she adored, as well as relatives and friends.

 

Predeceased by her parents, Hemilina (Quesnel) & Zephirin Lebrun; Brothers – Germain, Jeremie “Jerry” & Edward; Sisters, Germaine & Dorina; also a brother-in-law, sister-in-laws, and son-in-laws – Donald Eagle, Wayne Harper, and Glen Watson.

 

Lucille worked as a live-in maid at the age of 11.  During WWII, she took a job as an ammunition assembler at the age of 15.  At age 18, she married, eventually giving birth to 7 children (1 deceased shortly after birth).  She worked all her life, raising her children who were the apple of her eye. The best years of her working career was at RCA Victor where she worked till its closing.  A few years later, she retired and lived a “peaceful life” as she described it. 

 

Family is how Lucille enjoyed life, along with Bingo, Casino and friends. Lucille will be missed by her family and friends. 

 

Not a day will go by that they won’t think of her. Please make donations to St. Francis De Sales Church, Smiths Falls or to St. Anne’s Church, Merrickville.
