Obituary of Catherine Mary Brown

Catherine Brown (Comeau) entered into rest at BGH on Tuesday August 3, 2021. Cathy was of Prescott, aged 50 years.

Cathy will be greatly missed and live on in the hearts of those she left behind.

Loving mother of Charlie (Amy) Brown, and proud grandmother of Mila of Alberta. Dear sister of Ricky Comeau, Mark Connolly and Kevin Leblanc. Cherished first cousin and best friend Joanne (Peter) Richard of New Brunswick. Loved by maternal father, Vince (Julie) Comeau.

Also survived by loving Aunts, Uncles, Family and Friends.

Predeceased by beloved parents Julian and Blanche Chaisson, and by loved maternal mother Nancy Reid (Connolly).

Cathy loved people, music and whatever life had to offer. She was young but had an,“Old Soul”. Caringly, she did what she wanted, being courageous, adventurous, ethusiastic, dynamic, impulsive, kind and generous.

Cathy's great love for music started on her, “Pa Peres” old sore knees while he played the fiddle. There was always a song in Cathy's sweet heart. If you couldn't hear it from her voice, you would see it in her bright smile.

Cathy loved people, if you entered her home an early question would be, “Are you hungry”. If you were hungry, she'd feed you. With Cathy, if you said you liked something she would give it to you. Cathy would give the shirt off her back or the painting on the wall.

From a little girl with bright red markings on her face, shaking her head from shoulder to shoulder when asked, “Were you in my strawberries?”, Cathy became a caring Wife, loving hockey Mother and a proud peacock Grandmother.

May Cathy's passing be a remembrance of love enduring.

A celebration of Cathy's will be held at a later date in New Brunswick. Memorial donations in Cathy's name can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Humane Society.
