Obituary of Scott Thomas Running

It is with a great heavy heart that we say goodbye to Scott, peacefully with his family and friends by his side at Brockville General Hospital.

Scott is survived by his mother Katherine Running, his brother Billy Running and family Kristin, Tony and Riley Parker, his sister Cynthia Stapper and family Tara, Doug, Austin (Allingham) and Payton Wilson, and his daughter Samantha Henderson.

Scott was predeceased by his sister’s Sharon and Barbra, also his sister-in-law Penny Looby.

For years Scott organized Horseshoe tournaments to raise money for Cancer and MS.

Scott spent the last couple years with family and friends close by, cherishing every moment of life. In the last two years, Scott and Samantha traveled from Sudbury to Niagara Falls to Windsor Ontario. Taking in all the sights from the Big Nickle to the amazing fireworks over the Falls. Samson his faithful companion was always close by. Great friends and lots of river tours, fishing and road trips.

Special thanks to, Keith Francis and David Gregus, Lisa Henderson and the many friends and family that made Scott’s life joyful. Scott will be truly missed everyday.  We will always remember his beautiful smile and wholesome heart.
