So sorry to see that Shirley has passed. Sincere condolences to her family. Shirley and I grew up together in Spencerville and was such a good friend. She loved her family, her chosen career and her sports. She was such a good person and although it has been years, if we met it would be like old times. That smile would light up a room and her laugh was infectious. Rest in peace, my friend. Fly high! Something tells me there will be an ice rink and I can see you gliding across it. Prayers always

Shirley and the class of77--- we were students together in nursing, friends from Spencerville, we saw each other occasionally over the years and always shared what was going on in our lives
She was so very proud of her husband and son, and they were always in our catch-up conversation.
I learned of her illness only recently, but was confident knowing her strength, that she would handle it like the trooper she always
was
My heart goes out to her mother, Dora, suffering such a terrible loss as well as her family
She was too young to be taken from them, and those of us who knew her, knew she probably accomplished more in her 62 years than many of us will ever do. I know she was a great nurse as well, and was proud to be one.
Rest in peace, Shirley. You have earned your place in heaven , for sure

I extend my sincere condolences to John, Mackenzie and family, her Mom Dora, and her brothers Lloyd and John and their families. Shirley used her talents wisely in the nursing profession and was highly regarded for her efforts there.
May God guide and bless her family with cherished memories as another page in their family story has been turned.
Sincerely, Ruth Dukelow
