Obituary of Shirley Pauline Mulder

At age 62, Shirley passed peacefully with family and friends by her side on November 4, 2020, after battling pancreatic cancer for eight long months.

Shirley was born February 8^th 1958 to Dora and Sikke Mulder in Brockville and was raised in Spencerville. 

She is survived by Dora, her loving husband John Park, son Mackenzie (Rylee Jenkins), and granddaughter Alice.

Shirley graduated in 1977 as a Registered Nurse from St. Lawrence College in Brockville. Her 43-year career started in Brownsville, Texas and she lived and worked in many different cities and hospitals in Texas for 10 years. Moving back to Canada, Shirley continued her career in Ottawa and Brockville.

Shirley loved to be continually active with skating on the canal, sailing on Charleston Lake, hiking on the trails of Eastern Ontario and biking on the 1000 Islands Parkway.

Wear purple on February 8^th to honour Shirley’s memory on her birthday.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
